In some states, prices dropped a little as the summer harvest progressed, but the trend is for this scenario to reverse throughout February.
The soybean harvest pace is still quite slow, with the development of crops delayed this year, which has opened a good window for corn shipments throughout February, something that is not very common.
In the month’s balance, corn fell from R$86 to R$85 at the sales base in Cascavel, Paraná.
At the Port of Santos, the price fell from R$90 to R$88 per bag.
