Finally, rain in Rio Grande do Sul. In the next 24 hours, the people of Rio Grande do Sul will have a small relief from the drought, but still with irregular and poorly distributed volumes. It is important to remember that there are already more than 200 municipalities in a state of emergency due to the drought. The eastern part of the state is expected to have wind gusts of up to 60 km/h.
Rainfall is lacking in some places and excessive in others. This is the case in Mato Grosso, which is expected to receive a lot of rain in the coming days. Thus, from this Saturday (28) until next Wednesday (1), it will rain around 100 mm in the western part of the state. The Southeast, north of São Paulo and south of Minas Gerais will also receive a lot of water, with around 70 mm.
In the Matopiba region, Maranhão will have more rain. In the North of the country, Pará and south of Rondônia are the main targets.
